First Friday Art Walk - Matte Refic/SCAPE- Kevin Malella

Join us Friday, April 7th, 6-9PM!

Photographer, Kevin Malella, presents his body of work, “Findings: A Photographic Journal,” in our Original Gallery. Malella´s photographic observations highlight nuances in the American landscape, hinting at the absurd disguised in the quotidian. And more readily, “ reflects on humanity and social constructs, in various states of existence.”

In BIG BLO, Matte Refic presents his latest paintings alongside other works by members of SCAPE, of which Matte is a part. SCAPE, the Spontaneous Combustion Arts Performance Ensamble, is approximately a 5 piece performance group consisting of members, Matte Refic, Bob Marsh, Julie Kim, Jeff Madeen, and Helen Eberhardie Dunn. They will be presenting a special spontaneous performance on the BIG BLO Stage the night of the opening as well as various times throughout the month!
