First Friday Art Walk - Vincent Fink “[UN]NATURAL [S]ELECTION”

  • Blo Back Gallery 131 Spring Street Pueblo, CO, 81003 United States (map)

Join us for the First Friday Art Walk from 5PM-7PM! Vincent Fink opens “[UN]NATURAL [S]ELECTION” in the OG (Original Gallery). The Annual Truth Exhibition opens in the Big BLO Gallery!

“My work is research-based, primarily focused on surrealistic paintings and drawings. In the name of art as exploration, I am not limited to any one medium or dimension; instead, my style is defined by my visual language of symbols and motifs, building on these themes to question our place in history and reality.
I further develop this language by reinventing mythology. I ask questions while creating worlds that go beyond our corporeal existence.
I often use Sacred Geometry, the harmonious patterns that interconnect all things in the multiverse, as an anomalous story-telling device in much of my work.
This work involves history, science, culture, philosophy, psychology, and architecture.
My goal is to balance both hemispheres of the mind, all aspects of the human condition; logic and emotion, order and chaos, to form a link between dreaming and waking life.”- VIncent Fink

Vincent will be performing during the The Third Eye Carnival the night of his opening, here is what he has to say about his music, “ Fluent in solo acoustic rock and 1-man-band metal, Vincent Fink has been a musician for almost as long as he has been a visual artist. He considers the two to be one and the same.

His music is Sonic Geometry. Experimental, yet structural and respectful of the perennial patterns that have lasted throughout human history, and will continue onward into the never.”
